Breaking News...Another Conflicting Jobs Report (November 2, 2012)

The jobs report indicated a gain of 171,000 jobs, well above analyst expectations.  That's the good news.  But the unemployment rate rose to 7.9%, up from 7.8%, but still below 8%.  I doubt this is a game-changer either way.  Each campaign will pick the number that ties in with their narrative, with a draw resulting on the spin.
